Myla is a certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator with an interactive teaching style greatly inspired by her trainings with Birthing From Within and Passion for Birth. Myla is one of three Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educators in New York City. She has observed Bradley courses and Hypnobirth classes which she infuses into her CBE curriculum and continues to grow as a gifted, experienced, excellent facilitator. She provides non-biased, evidence-based info, and asks her clients the questions that best helps them get clarity on what they want. We cover the physical stages of labor, signs and symptoms in labor, emotional signposts in labor, the anatomy of childbirth, nutrition, coping strategies, and how to be a great labor coach/companion, and much more. I teach small group weekend intensives in Manhattan or private classes in your home.

Since her deep dive into the endeavor to open The Birthing Place, Myla has been fully committed to its development. Lately, her focus has been on providing and expanding their robust selection of educational offerings, which include a blend of lecture, video, demonstration, and hands-on practice.
